After about ten years of writing and drawing the comic, Human Cull, I was feeling a little burned out. I was tired of drawing the things that annoyed me about people and wanted to focus on the positive. It seemed that a lot of people needed to be cheered up in 2017. There was a lot to be negative about and we needed an antidote to that. I took the title from an Ian Dury and the Blockheads song and started noting down the things that give me reasons to be cheerful. I hope you agree with some of them.
